An accident, involving up to four vehicles, closed busy Fairview Avenue Thursday afternoon. The crash was around 5:20 near Kipp Lane. Two patients were reported to have minor injuries. Greenport Fire and rescue were on the scene. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office investigated.
