Incident ends with Germantown man in jail

Charges - Trespass, Obstruction of Governmental Administration and Resisting Arrest

Arraigned in Village of Saugerties Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $750.00 cash bail or $1500.00 Bond

Narrative of Incident:

On June 4, 2017 Saugerties Police responded to the Pig Bar and Grill on Partition Street for a report of four subjects refusing to leave the establishment. Investigation by officers determined that the defendant Devin A. Munoz, had been directed to leave several times, refusing to leave at first and then complying with staff when advised police would be called. 

Munoz then returned to the bar and refused to leave once again. Munoz who was still present upon the arrival of officers, was escorted out of the bar. Once outside Munoz refused to comply with officers and further refused to to identify himself. Upon being advised he was being arrested Munoz physically fought with officers, attempting top resist their arrest. 

Munoz was subsequently taking into custody and processed at police headquarters on the Misdemeanor Charges of Obstruction of Governmental Administration and Resisting Arrest, in addition to the Violation of Trespass. Munoz was arraigned in the Village of Saugerties Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in Lieu of $750 cash bail or $1,500 bond.
