PRESS RELEASEOn May 15, 2017 the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation - SP Kingston announced the arrest of MICAHEL A. NOTARNICOLA age 37 of Catskill, NY for possession of methamphetamine.

A New York State Trooper observed NOTARNICOLA operating a motor vehicle in violation of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law on Interstate 587 in the Town of Ulster. The Trooper initiated a vehicle and traffic stop for the violation observed and subsequently located approximately 2.6 grams of a white and clear crystaline substance believed to be methamphetamine. NOTARNICOLA was also found to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia used to smoke methamphetamine. NOTARNICOLA was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree, a Felony and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation.

NOTARNICOLA was arraigned in the Town of Ulster Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail with no bail.
